Based on a strong interest in contract and association law, coupled with solid knowledge and experience from the field of intellectual property law, Jonas has for more than 25 years assisted clients with contracts and in business transactions, as well as represented clients in court and arbitration disputes.
A common denominator for many of Jonas’ assignments is that they often in some form lie in the cross land between contract law and intellectual property law, or otherwise concern the specific areas in which the firm operates. Jonas’ clients range from large listed companies to start-ups, operating in a wide variety of industries.
Against this backdrop, Jonas has acquired extensive experience in drafting and negotiating, inter alia, license, distribution and R&D agreements as well as agreements relating to joint ventures, franchising and other collaborations. Jonas is also regularly engaged to provide advice in connection with mergers and acquisitions and with shareholder and other corporate agreements, as well as in connection with share issues, option programs and other corporate law matters.
In addition to contractual and intellectual property disputes, Jonas is also hired to assist clients with cases and matters relating to misappropriation of trade secrets.
For more than 10 years, Jonas has had Norstedts Juridik’s assignment to write the contract modules “Partnership Agreements” and “Distribution Agreements” provided through JUNO/Avtalsguiden. Avtalsguiden is a web-based interactive tool that contains a large number of business law agreements and other documents coupled with alternative contract clauses, negotiation tips and best practice advice.
