David Ramsjö specialises in intellectual property law, marketing law and dispute resolution. He has nearly 15 years of experience in disputes relating to marketing law, trademarks, patents, copyright and commercial disputes in arbitration proceedings and court disputes.
David represents clients in litigation matters and provides general advice, primarily in the areas of intellectual property and marketing law.
With his background as a legal secretary at the Market Court, with a focus on marketing law, as a legal officer at the Swedish Competition Authority and experience from the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce Arbitration Institute (SCC) as a legal counsel, David has a deep understanding of litigation and handling a wide variety of complex disputes.
David is a member of the Swedish Bar Association, the Swedish Copyright Society (SFU) and the Swedish Intellectual Property Rights Association (SFIR), where he was an adjunct board member for ten years and responsible for the association's Market Law Group and as the association's secretary. He is the author of Norstedts Juridiks/JUNO's legal commentary on the Swedish Patent Act (chapters 15-17 on sanctions), co-author of the contract module ‘Distribution Agreements’ (on competition law) provided through JUNO/Avtalsguiden and has lectured on intellectual property law at Lund University School of Economics and Management.
David graduated from Stockholm University and completed his legal clerkship at Stockholm District Court.
