Dan Eklöf specialises in intellectual property law and competition law.
Dan has an academic background and received his doctorate from Stockholm University in 2004. In the Intellectual Property field, the focus is on providing advice and dispute resolution in matters related to copyright law. In Competition law, his main task is dispute resolution and giving advice with respect to the prohibition of abuse of a dominant position.
Dan has represented collective management organisations in cases before the Swedish Supreme Court and the Court of Justice of the European Union. He has also represented clients in several cases concerning standard-essential patents and FRAND issues.
Dan has special expertise in European Union law, in particular its implications for Intellectual Property and Competition law. In 2008, he was appointed Associate Professor (Docent) in European Law at Stockholm University.
