Ten Year Anniversary of the
InfoSoc Directive

Peter Adamsson at Sandart & Partners contributes with an article in the new anthology "Copyright In The Information Society",
a publication to commemorate the 10 year anniversary of the InfoSoc Directive.

In the year 2001 the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union adopted Directive 2001/29/EC on the harmonization of certain aspects of copyright and related rights in the information society, commonly referred to as the InfoSoc Directive.

The Directive concerns the legal protection of copyright and related rights in the framework of the internal market, with particular emphasis on the information society. It has now been in force for
10 years. The authors of the book wish to celebrate this anniversary.
Combining academic research and practical aspects on an international, European and national level, the publication addresses important issues pertaining to the Directive as well as issues related to copyright itself.

Peter Adamsson, at Sandart & Partners, has contributed to the book with an article on the Swedish experiences of the Directive.

The book is available for online purchase through Edward Elgar Publishing.
